KABRIC Stools by Sella Conecpt

London design studio Sella Concept’s first furniture collection represents both innovating shapes and longevity at heart. The studio headed by Tatjana von Stein and Gayle Noonan, has designed a series of three stools made from hand-turned tulip wood and KABRIC in the green shade of Big Apple.

Shape and colour are giving respect to harmony and waves created by water. This is a handmade series, featuring curvaceous forms inspired by the bathers at Hampstead Heath's Ladies' Pond, which the owners of the design studio are members of. Sella’s founders Tatjana von Stein and Gayle Noonan were reminded of the pond’s vivacious women swimmers when experimenting with shapely forms for their debut collection, and have named the three variations ‘Bather 1, 2 and 3’ in tribute.

With these versatile stools, function and aesthetics meet in a perfect match. These unique stools are all about texture. KABRIC in the colour Big Apple accentuates the perception of perfection in curved shapes and undefines lines. The stools, which range in height from 65cm to 75cm, are topped with a cushion made from a textured wool and cotton bouclé cloth from London-based textile studio Tibor’s Wellington collection.
